About the event
The Annual Honored Artist Luncheon is sponsored annually by the Mississippi State Committee of the National Museum of Women in the Arts. This instrumental event recognizes and honors Mississippi's talented women artists by rewarding their efforts with the community. The lunch and ceremony will take place on August 27, 2026, beginning at 11:30 AM.
Cheryl Thornhill, president of the committee, will welcome visitors to the occasion. A representative from the National Museum of Women in the Arts, Grace DeWitt, is flying in from D.C. to be with us!
This year’s honorees are Eden Brent of Greenville, Andrea Kostyal of Hattiesburg, and Ellen Ellis Lee of Ocean Springs.
This event is RSVP only, with a ticketed amount of $35 per guest.
